The general membership meeting and trophy presentation will be held on Thursday, May 15th at 6:30pm at the pavilion at the MWC Soccer Club. This is the time when election of new offices for the Midwest City Soccer Club occurs. We need your participation. We must have a quorum to call the meeting to order. Each coach and unpaid board member receives a vote. You can only cast 2 votes, so if you coach more than two teams, you must fill out a proxy form and give your excess vote(s) to another person. The proxy form is available on the website. Nominations can be made to the nominating committee by emailing Jimmy Cockrum (
) and/or Christie Layman (
). Please send these by May 14th, 2008. Also, nominations can be made from the floor at the meeting. Please make sure to include contact information for the person you are nominating. Our committee will contact them to make sure they are willing to serve before they will be placed on the slate of officers. If we do not have a quorum on May 15th, we will not give out trophies. Elections are a very important event for the club. Please attend or send a proxy.
